Emergency First Aid at Work: 1 day course
This qualification is designed for individuals working in low-risk environments who want to become appointed persons responsible for first aid arrangements. Participants will learn how to manage first aid equipment and facilities, as well as when to call Emergency Medical Services. Upon completion, candidates will be equipped provide basic first aid in various emergency situations. This training empowers them to respond confidently and effectively when it matters most.

On this one day course designed to assist staff in understanding why the people they support might engage in behaviours that are challenging and to explore ways of reducing the incidents that may lead to staff distress and absences.

You will have a dedicated assessor who will be your main point of contact, guiding you in building your portfolio of evidence to showcase your knowledge and skills. During your induction meeting your assessor will discuss the course requirements, outline the necessary steps, and provide an induction booklet for additional guidance.
